Im März 2019 kommt Aurora Bowkett, internationale Yoga-Lehrerin aus London, zu Hot Yoga Vienna.

Aurora praktiziert neben Vinyasa Flow eine Mischung aus Dharma, Rocket, Ashtanga, Yin und Restorative Yoga und wird folgende Workshops exklusiv bei uns anbieten:


Building Balance – Mobilität und Körperbalance verbessern

Create balance on and off your mat. Working through lower body stabilisation, mobility and balance as we move to create a more grounded and integrated practice. Balance your flexibility and strength by building control throughout our full range of motion.

Flow through fiery vinyasa, we will use creative transitions and intuitive movement to explore your hamstrings and hips, opening your lower body from a foundation of strength. Discover true control and consciousness within the whole range of movement and connect with your body and mind in complete balance.

Spinal Awakening – Flexibilität der Wirbelsäule erhöhen

Learn how to gain access to your full spinal flexibility safely by engaging your whole body. Back bending is much more the simply “bending your back” – by building openness and strength in your shoulders, hips, legs and back access the full potential of your spine!

Beginning with a juicy heart opening vinyasa flow, Aurora will then breakdown traditional postures such as Urdhva Dhanurasana, Natarjasana, Dhanurasana and Ustrasana, showing specific drills and exercises to help access them safely and with ease.

Once these foundations have been mastered you will then begin to look at more advanced variations, interesting transitions through postures such as Camel to Wheel pose, and Drop Backs.

Yang to Yin surrender – Die volle Energie des Körper ausschöpfen, den Geist durch kraftvolle Übungen beruhigen

Sometimes we find it hard to fully release and surrender into life. Hectic schedules, life pressures and constant mental stimulation can lead us to be unable to fully switch off and release into our restful state of being.

But by firing up our bodies, connecting to our breath, expending our energy and finding our meditation through our physical yang practice, that mental agitation can be tamed so we are able release and fully find our calm, the yin.

In this workshop beginning with a fiery extended full body vinyasa, focusing on breath, body connection and strong movement – we will move, sweat and focus your energies into your physical body. We will then move into a yin practice slowing down our minds, releasing our body and finish with a final guided meditation and yoga nidra to fully surrender your body and mind.

Up side down life – Umkehrhaltungen verbessern

Inversions can improve your mood, help your lymphatic system, increase core strength and awareness and most importantly be a huge amount of fun!

Join Aurora in this 3 hour workshop where she will help you build confidence and strength in your inversions. Working with body weight drills, alignment exercises, animal movements, props and partners, you’ll walk away with an expanse of new and refined ways to improve your inversions safely and with awareness.

Whether you are new to inverting or love getting upside down, there’s something for everyone in this workshop as we move through fundamental drills to build strength and alignment in your headstand, forearm stand and handstand to more advanced entries, leg variations, arm positions and movement transitions for those looking for some extra spice!
